The mother of Meg, Lizzie and Grace does not say or do a lot, but it seems reasonable to assume that she either shares or at least silently tolerates her husband's ideas about order and discipline. The latter would let her share common ground with the late Lynn Echolls and Neptune's new county supervisor; the former would simply make her scary.
