Veronica Mars movie

Rob Thomas, creator of Veronica Mars, wants to do a Veronica Mars movie.

Kristen Bell, the star of Veronica Mars, wants to do a Veronica Mars movie.

The Veronica Mars fans want to see a Veronica Mars movie.

So whats the hold up?

For years and years, the answer to that question was Warner Brothers. The WB didn't want to do VM movie because they didn't think there was enough interest.

Fast forward to 2013...

Due to the persistence of Rob and his gang of never-giver-uppers, the WB has given the go ahead for a VM movie. However, while the WB agreed to do a VM movie, they didn't agree to finance a VM movie.

This is where the money-counterfieting, postcard-writing, plane-sending, DVD-donating, petition-signing VM fans come in. The VM folks have a launched a Kickstarter project asking the VM fans to finance a Veronica Mars movie.

The fans banded together many-a-times to help the show get three seasons. Let's band together once again to help the show get a movie.

Don't forget about me.

I could never.

Update (March 13, 5:56 pm PT): And apparently, the fans never forgot Veronica.

Less than 12 hours after the Kickstarter campaign was launched, the fans reached to goal of $2 million dollars.
