"Mrs. Robinson" (Music)

"Here's to you, Mrs. Echolls!"

In Simon and Garfunkel's classic song, Mrs. Robinson was originally supposed to be Mrs. Roosevelt, but Paul Simon changed it to fit the movie The Graduate. The song is about how Jesus loves Mrs. Robinson. The movie is about how Mrs. Robinson, an older woman, seduces a college student. We're not quite sure how they fit together, but they do it beautifully. Obviously, Sean sees himself as Dustin Hoffman in The Graduate, but we see him more as...well, Dustin Hoffman, but in Midnight Cowboy. Enjoy syphilis!
