"A day in the life of a human Google. Always in search mode. One moment tracking down the absurd — parrots and goats, metaphors for a school pride I don't possess — and an hour or two later, going after the appalling — the murderer of a teenage girl."
Veronica compares herself to the popular internet search engine Google. The main difference between these two searching wizards is that while Veronica uses her skills to search for the truth, people use Google to search for porn, porn, and more porn.

"And while we're on the subject of men I failed to seduce today, time to see what Collin likes to Google."
The popular Internet search engine reported over six billion dollars in revenue for 2005. Its founders admitted they accidentally misspelled "googel," the mathematical term which refers to the number 1 followed by 100 zeroes. Somehow, the name stuck. If Veronica Mars were to google her name today, she'd get hundreds of hits. Of course, if she were going for quality and wanted to find the most comprehensive and informative site on the 'Net, she'd only need one. What do you mean, "which one?" Check out the site you're currently visiting...wait for it...Ah, yes. Thanks for playing.

"I checked Google Earth. Satellite photos show a landing strip and a building big enough to hold a plane."
A program launched by Google in 2005, showing satellite images of...Earth. Yes, it's that one time where the gift wrap isn't prettier than the package.

- Googling (Organizations, Companies, and Products)
"Yeah, I don't think you survived the Googling."
Did you ever Google "Google"? Wait, wrong show. What's the best search engine in all the world? Google! In addition to having access to countless websites, it also has suggestions if you would happen to misspell a word. Priceless for research, let me tell you...unfortunately for Logan. When Mr. and Mrs. Lee tried to find out more, they probably got an eyeful. Bum fights, a death-by-suicide mother, a murdered murderer father, and an
illegitimate adopted sister who, while not ultimate evil, is also not a higher being. Another love endangered by Googling.
