Pitchfork Media (Organizations, Companies, and Products)

"I got offered an internship with Pitchfork Media, pretty much the most highly regarded music review publication on the Internet."

My, how far technology has come. Piz, a true music fiend, is geeked-out about working for not Rolling Stone, not Blender, but Pitchfork Media, a virtual Internet magazine started by Ryan Schreiber in 1995. Originally focusing on indie, underground music, the Chicago-based site (not New York, Piz — that's quite a long commute) has expanded in the years since its inception, covering more mainstream music as well as re-releases and indie music. Other than being one half of VerPizica, this is probably Piz's number-one dream. Unless it's working on a website named PizFork Media.
