Arrested Development (TV)

"Meryl? I was looking for you."
"Hey! No touching!"

Who knew cousinly incest could be so heartwarming, dismemberment so funny, and Jason Bateman so brutally hot? About four million or so loyal viewers of Arrested Development, that's who. For two-and-a-half brief and shining seasons, the FOX network brought the trials and tribulations of Michael Bluth and his dysfunctional family into American living rooms. Naturally, the critically acclaimed and thoroughly original comedy was killed prematurely in favor of the likes of The War at Home. But we're not bitter. Certainly feeling some kinship with his own series's similarly adored but frustratingly underwatched peer, Rob Thomas gives his latest subtle shout-out to the Bluth family, as Lamb exclaims, "No touching!", one of the show's catchphrases (courtesy of the Bluth patriarch's prison guards).
